The New Zealand Brush Company has been supplying chimney and boiler brushes to professionals and general handymen for decades. We have worked with the industry to design tools that ensure we get the best clean, first time.
When choosing a brush there are a few things to keep in mind
Flue Size – Make sure you measure the diameter of the flue being cleaned. The diameter of the flue should be the same diameter of the brush to ensure best contact, and best clean.
Top down or Bottom Up? We recommened you contact your local manufacturer for best flue maintenance advice.
Wire or Poly? Wire Brushes remove creosote more effectively and can be used on warm flues. Poly Brushes are softer on the flue but not suitable for use in warm flues
Make sure you have gloves, safety glasses, a dust mask and a dropsheet to contain the mess.
